Everyone at the FIDM Museum is so excited that High Style: Betsy Bloomingdale and the Haute Couture is now open to the public! Curators Christina Johnson and Kevin Jones have been working on this exhibition for 3 years and all of their careful planning has resulted in a fantastic exhibition. We plan to feature exhibition related content on our blog over the next few weeks, so stick with us! In the meantime, here are a few photos from the exhibition opening party.

Thinkspace is proud to present Vain Remains, the new joint exhibition from Vancouver’s Camilla d’Errico and Oceanside’s Caia Koopman. The show will feature an array of new works from both artists including acrylic on canvas and wood along with mixed media on paper and marks the 1st time the two have exhibited together in this large a capacity. For 17 years the FIDM Museum & Galleries has celebrated the incredible talent of Costume Designers in the film industry through the Art of Motion Picture Costume Design exhibition. This year's exhibition featured original costumes from more than 20 top films of 2008, including The Dark Knight, Changeling, and Academy Award® Winner for Best Costume Design, The Duchess.
